I can't stand it. Rosey keeps trotting out this retarded strawman argument: "I don't see how trading Jones makes the Bears a better team." Uh, hey king of idiots, it doesn't at the moment, nor is it meant to. In a perfect world, the Bears would no doubt be thrilled to keep both running backs. But, now they've moved up in the draft and, hopefully, they can use that to improve their team and possibly even come out ahead. But even if they don't, that doesn't matter, because the move wasn't made with the express intent of improving the team; it was made in an attempt to minimize a volatile situation. If the Bears ink Jones and are subsequently forced to let go of one of their other players, does that improve the team? I'm just asking for a modicum of consideration, yet Rosey is apparently not equipped.

I am enjoying listening to Tom challenge Rosie without simply talking over him. I noticed on a phone call by Paul (perhaps MUSCholar) that Rosie tried to use the Sean technique of getting his point accross; talking loud and cutting off the other person.

The better question is "Does it make them that much worse?"

Barring an injury, is there any doubt that Benson can't run for as many yards as Thomas Jones did? Thomas Jones was an above average starting RB. He probably was 10-15 in the league. I don't see any way that if Benson plays 16 games that he doesn't run for at least 1300 yards.

The only way it makes a big difference is if Benson gets injured or Adrian Peterson is completely ineffective since he probably will get about 5 carries a game now.

I think Waddle is doing a great job challenging Rosie. After the Rosenblog, Tom asked Rosie why he didnt introduce Sampson as a recruit stealer when they had them on the show earlier. Waddle doesn't sound like an 8 year old when he does it either.
