I've listened for a little bit. Waddle is a quick wit smart ass type of guy. He takes good natured shots at Silvy.

Silvy is really not that sharp when it comes to this sort of thing. He tries to give a good comeback and often it just doesn't make sense. Sometimes he doesn't even get Waddle's shot. LOL.

I think Waddle needs to slow down on this. It's good sometimes but it's too much and it often slows down the show as Silvy tries to figure out what he meant or give a comback that falls flat.

Silvy is used to Carm. Carm used to just sit there like a log. He never had wity one liners or shots towords Silvy. Carm is just a "aww golly gee" type of guy.

With the lack of a pulse that Carm had Silvy would seem like the genious one liner type of guy. Not that hard with Carm sitting next to you. But with Waddle, Silvy just can't keep up.

For the life of me, I don't see what Silvy brings to the table.

I'd rather hear Carmen and Waddle.

I'm lucky, I can't listen much during mid days, but has Waddle told everyone how he's such a great Reds fan yet? He's just a lazy BS'er. He'll let you know often that he's from Cincy, just as his routine was on with Kaplan. Oh yeah, he's got daughters so you will hear about women's sports too. His act will get stale quick for you midday listeners. I even feel sorry for Silvy, he's going to go nuts.

As I have said before--morning drive-Mike and Mike, afternoon drive MJH, (like it much better without Harry) and evenings Kaplan. I think Carmen does a decent job.

Like those three have room to talk, as their show is:

just get on the air,
ramble about sports and not make any point other than to point out what teams they are fans of,
kiss up to atheletes,
and kiss up to their callers, especially those who use "Da" instead of "the" when speaking;
finally sign off, repeat come tomorrow.

I am enjoying the time I have listened. Good humor, and entertaining talk, keeping it simple, can't ask for much more than that.

Your sports radio listening habits are as brutal as Keeping Score and IkeSouth's.
