Over the past few years, we have heard Silvy with Carmen Defalco, then the day slot went to Salsbury and Rosenbloom, and now we have Silvy with Wadle. I do not want to influence voting in any way-I am just curious as to which show listeners have enjoyed the most. Vote for your favorite.

Oh what the hell, I hate that we can't edit messages here. I put in an option for Silvy with Waddle, which I like. What an improvement over, Salisbury-who I couldn't stand after a short while. I think him being on the station hurt WMVP. I wish I could try again to correct the poll, but without editing capabilities, I guess that's not going to be possible. I did like the Carm and Silvy show a lot, and was just curious to see how many people liked that show, perhaps even better than the current show with Waddle. I doubt Salisbury would have gotten many votes, but perhaps I underestimate his popularity amonst listeners.

I'm a big fan of Waddle and Silvy. At first Waddle kinda had that "I'm a tv guy/goody goody", but after a few months he kinda came down from his high horse and is forming a nice complement to Silvy.

I concur. Waddle has finally gotten over his "make-fun-of-Silvy-at-every-opportunity-ness." They have settled into a nice rhythm.

I still miss Silvy & Carmen but I haven't been able to listen to much of Silvy & Waddle lately.

Salisbury and Rosenbloom don't even need to be listed as an option.

I like the X-Factor bit they do when Waddle talks to ex-teammates. Its great to hear names of former mediocre players from those early 90's bad Bears teams.

So far its been

Curtis Conway

Chris Gedney

Neal Armstrong.

I think you're thinking of Stretch Armstrong.

Sorry I meant Neal Anderson, who wasn't mediocre. Today they have (YAY!) Jim Harbaugh......

Tom actually took that attitude and made it a bit of a character flaw to have fun with. I really like their show now; especially as they've gotten better with their segments and introductions. Silvy's intro to "Tom's trainwreck thought of the day" was horrid in the early months.

Waddle and Silvy are fine together. They talk sports, but bring some humor to it sounds it's not dry or boring. I don't listen as much as I would like to, but I've enjoyed when I have.

Silvy and Carmen

Silvy/Waddle does nothing for me, but I really like Carmen/Hood at night.

I agree - the nightime is worth a listen now as well, and it's also nice to have local programming on most of the day with a few national shows mixed in.

Justin Craig has lowly been fixing the station. While I thought the ESPNification of MJH sucked at first, they seemed to have let that go and been themselves again. Justin got Hood a regular time slot and I think he and Carmen work really well together. He finally took care of the nine to noon debacle. He also got us MJH starting at 2. It's the 6-7 hour that's still up in the air for me right now. I kinda like it because I don't listen during the entire time I'm at work obviously, so it's nice to catch something. Ben's comments have been good as well.

The best of MJH is Dan Patricking The Show. 6-7 hour is a terrible lead in for them. More often than not I turn off the radio.

i listen to a lot less NPR from 10-12 now, so I think I've proven to myself that I enjoy silvy & waddle much more now. waddle's come down to earth a bit...i think he's better on less sleep. he's more loopy, and more fun.
