What was written on that shirt last night that you didn't want Paula to hold up?

On to my rhetorical questions -

Where do they get the people for the Fan Deck for that show? The one girl in the back row looked pretty hot but those dudes in the front looked like they pulled some dudes off the street and laced their Bears Kool-aid with DA COATCHHH's signature cocaine.

Also, why doesn't Hampton stutter on this show at night? He sounds pretty good - at least he did last night.

And we witness Silvy's Devil's Bargain - he gets to sit next to Paula Faris well into the evening but in return he must sit just as close to Murph. Declare.

The shirt they couldn't show was probably a play on Fukodome's name that said "Fuk U" "Do Me" or something along those lines. She probably wore it for her husband last night while Silvy was slapping his couch.

Nice wrapping job by Silvy. That's a +1 for the hetero column because no self-respecting gay man would ever give someone a gift wrapped like that.

Murph's demeanor is pretty creepy -- goes very well with his lovely voice. I can only imagine what Hampton really thinks of the media guys they have on the show.

The guy who was in the back of the fan deck sitting between the two girls looked like he was probably wearing girl's jeans.

i only watched for five minutes, but nonetheless, this show is "boom goes the dynamite" hilarious.

Yeah, you're pretty close. One of the shirts said "Get Fuk'd"
So I didn't want to get anyone in trouble.

Believe it or not, that was the first time I met Murph.
When I walked in, I NEVER would've known it was him. Looked different compared to the publicity pics.

The girls in the fan deck weren't bad, but nothing that made you say wow.
That's just to my right ;)
The fan deck ALWAYS cracks me up. I met two of the guys in the front row who seemed like they were pretty cool. We were watching the WS in the green room.

BTW--always good to hear from the good doctor!

That's funny. That was the funniest part of the show IMO. You did a nice job on the show, Silvy. Seems like you have an easy, comfortable rapport with Paula on-air. I thought I've seen you on before (I don't catch every week) so that may explain it.

Murph seemed uncomfortable, like he took every question and deflected it to Hampton. Also, I was uncomfortable by the fact that Hampton pronounces the word "sacks" to sound exactly like "sex". His comment of "We need to have more sacks!" struck me as unintentionally hilarious as a result.

But, the production values, or lack thereof, on that show continue to be the star. It wasn't too bad last night. I only caught one off-mike sequence. I miss the uncomfortably long hold on Paula as they forget to cut the camera over to the next shot. I didn't see one of those last night.

anyone watch the CLTV show at 9:00?

dear lord...they had some guy on and put his mic on his collar...so, everytime he moved his head, his neck rubbed against the mic. it was brutal. when he talked it sounded like he was in a plastic garbage can.

I'm with Doc. That girl, in the back left of the fan deck, was stunning.

I thought Murph looked different too. I've just seen his promo shots like you Silvy. Saw a youtube thing of him doing his show. It was posted on the Score's web site. It was an interview with Savard.

Murph looked weird squirming around on TV. Awkwardly talking to Hamp, Silvy and Paula. There was a weird exchange between him and Paula. I thought Paula was scared of him and said something like "Happy to have you here Murph" in a nervous voice. I'm sure she's heard of Murph's reputation from Score people.

Silvy, you were on NBC 5 and FOX with Corey that night. "Final Word" was really late cuz of the World Series. That was taped earlier in the day. You could tell by the way the cut shots when Waddle was talking to Corey. Corey would turn away to a diffent cameral when the live shot would go back to him. Acting like Waddle was doing it live.

By the way, the show is improving. They put Hamp on a different set with the black guy to start the show. So it's just Paula and the 2 guests to start then they go to Hamp. Works better.

Paula is a talent. I can tell she knows her stuff. She's not just a pretty face. She's good at TV transitions. Does her segways based on the last comment the guests makes. I notice shit like that. She's smooth, quick, seemless and seems very comfortable in front of a camera. Can't say that about everybody on TV. Especially her guests on that show.

Yeah, I forgot about that. That was weird. Murph said something, I can't remember what, about the Bulls record or something and Paula just said, "Yeah, that's not gonna happen" and moved on.

It was pretty cold but I was laughing.

Didn't Mike Murphy look like a law professor with the noticeable gray hair he had on the uneven NBC 5 "Sports Sunday: The Postgame Show" last Sunday night? :?

Murph tried to make a stupid joke...he did get better as they went along, but clearly nervous and out of his element...
