When I went horseback riding in Kentucky; the waivers they had us sign were pretty convincing that you should treat a horse seriously. This was a trainwreck from the planning stage; much less how it happened, and the way it could of gone.
I expect a bit more out of these guys now that they're doing so well; but leave it alone already.
That's the key right there Frontman. Harry didn't get seriously hurt so that's why they can have some fun at Harry's expense. I highly doubt they would be taking it this far if Harry was seriously injured. If it was so bad, then maybe ESPN shouldn't have pictures of it on their website.
It happened a week ago. Do the jokes on Monday, then move on. Silvy has gotten a week's worth of filler from it; and I'm sure Hawthorne doesn't want a constant reminder to PETA and other groups that this could of ended rather badly. The Hawthorne director who was on the air during the segment last week sounded like he'd rather be anywhere than on the air; especially with the "down goes Fraizer" stuff. Just because Harry arms and legs were "flapping" didn't mean he wasn't seriously injured.
Look, I'm no PETA person; far from it. I love my steak, I love baseball, and I love to wear my leather jacket. But there are those who would point to this incident as a prime example to make their point. So, Silvy; enough already. With the sports stories making headlines this week, you had to do 3 different segments in a 4 hour show a week later about the stupidity of ESPN promotions and the Afternoon Saloon?
