She might know her stuff (for a girl) and she might write well, but her voice just doesn't work.

This is a mistake that is constantly made by radio 'execs', giving guys that write radio gigs just because what they write is decent stuff. Then they get ont he air and the zero personality factor shows us all why they are writers.
