I am a huge fan of this show and have been for a long time, but they really need to get Wilbon off the air. Every time he is on he is going back and forth on his opinion, name-dropping like he is best friends with every athlete on the planet, and then becoming extremely combative if anyone ever tries to give an opinion a little different than his. Get this tool off the airwaves and leave him to the national radio.

Get him off everything, he's useless and has been for a long time. He's not only bland and tiresome but an asskisser to the highest degree, say Earvin one more time asskisser, just to show us all how close you are to him.

He went to St. Ignatius.

He can't help himself.

I stopped listening to Wilbon after he declared Cam Newton will be the next John Elway 3 games into his career...it absolutely blew my mind.....allow the kid a few years to prove that, not 2-3 games....punch bricks Wilbon

But this guy, this guy is the goods...

Not really sure when Wilbon reclaimed his status as a long time Chicagoan/Media guy, but I feel I have a pretty good grasp on remembering guys who did sports reporting in this city and his name never came to mind.

He should go spend some time with Jim Belushi

He never did.

Went to Medill and started at the Washington Post out of college. Then moved to ESPN.

He's from here. Grew up on the mean streets of the South Side. What does it matter if he was a reporter here? Wilbon IS Chicago. #TeamPTI

Just caught a few minutes of the interview today. I havent really seen/heard much of Wilbon outside of PTI. Everyone is correct in here, he is a total douchebag. I actually agreed more with his opinion than Waddle and Silvy's, but he comes across so terribly that it was making me want to side with Silvy and Waddle. The way he disregards facts, makes shit up, tries to yell louder when he is wrong, and not-so-humble brags about himself when it's completely unwarranted reminds me of some kind of awful hybrid of Bill O'Reilly and Sean Salisbury.

Yep. I heard most of the interview. he came off like an ass hat. He completely disregarded the fact that Rose was cleared to play. Just kept saying there is no point to Rose coming back.
