What is going on with the S&R show today? Did someone give Seanycakes a shot? Is he too tired from a weekend of sports work at the mothership and the USC/Notre Dame festivities of the weekend?

If Seanycakes was this subdued all the time, I could get used to this. They've not made me want to turn the channel yet this morning. I'm stunned. They've got an hour and fifteen minutes to irritate me, but so far so good.

I agree, the show has been rather good today - actual conversation, and Sean seems composed today.

Somebody should call in and tell him the Cowboys suck. That would liven him up...

sean was all over the place this weekend on t.v. and radio.....he's probably wiped out.
either that or Justin Craig told him to quit being a jackass.

Sean was so subdued he didn't show up for the first 7 minutes of the program! Rosenbloom was all by lonesome.

I blathered on about this earlier in the FB season, but I suspect that Sean's insane multi-city multi-media schedule is catching up with him, both on a general physical/mental level and especially with regard to his voice. The fact that he does enjoy chatting up the ladies at nightspots, which is perfectly within his rights, might also contribute.
