Parked in my assigned parking spot, which is too far so, it's at least a 30 second walk, maybe more, never really timed it, but got out of the car and heard Silvy talking about little league...walk into my place and have the online version of Am 1000 on and now hearing the portion of the show again???

Any radio tech guys have an explanation for this? I always thought the online was a little ahead of the radio, with no dump button either?

Any type of live streaming has a delay. You see the same thing on cable television vs. online streaming. It still takes some time to convert, transfer and send it out. It also helps with buffering I believe. If it were live, you'd probably hear a lot of breaking up of the signal. Instead, it is almost always flawless.

pizza_Place: Four hours away....and on fire :-(
I've had to yell at my dad countless times when we're on the phone, and he spoils the Cardinals or whatever game we're watching, since he's usually a good 3-4 seconds ahead.

We see this a lot from Bears chat. Us out of towners streaming have plays at different rates than watching live in Chicago.

The 3, 4 or 10 seconds, I always knew was around, but the 30 seconds + seemed like a long time.

Gonna time the walk to the car tomorrow.
