This is one of the stupidest things I've read in a long time. In fact, I'm dumber for having read the list.

The list gets really stupid in the later rounds. AJ Hawk and Matt Leinart in, Drew Brees and Steve Smith on the bubble. If you are going to project what they will do in the future like that, then you might as well put Jimmy Clausen in their right now. He's the chosen one.

I just got to the odd men out, and Mario Williams makes the list. That may be the worst one even to be mentioned.

The NFL Hall of fame is one of those voting process that I have no idea how it works since the results are not public. That being said, some of the guys are obvious, but any Hall of Fame without Art Monk is a joke. 6th overall on receptions, 11th in yards for a traditional running club.

Could not agree more. I think Monk retired as the all time leader in receptions. It is not his fault that teams throw about 30 percent more passes than they did 20 years ago. He has the big-game resume too---3 super bowls. If James Lofton is a Hall of Famer, how is Art Monk not. Anyway, that list was pretty stupid. I was suprised to see that Tommie Harris was not even mentioned, unless I missed him. He is only 24 and is already one of the best tackles in football.

Tommie Harris is no Mario Williams I guess. I didn't know being a number 1 pick put you in the hall of fame, because that's all Mario Williams has done.

How about the fact that one of our own Richard Dent, one of the greatest pass rushers of his time, is not in the Hall of Fame?

I don't even think he was a finalist this year. His stats alone are ridiculous he is high on the all-time sack list and not to mention he was the MVP of SB XX. I don't get it.

Ruben Brown has been selected to eight or nine Pro Bowls in his career, you would have to think he deserves some serious consideration.

Art Monk should have made it before Michael Irving made it.

And both before Roger Wehrli,Thurman Thomas, Bruce Matthews, Charlie Sanders, most coaches and virtually all NFL owners or administrators.
