We're a month or so before the NFL regular season kicks off, and FOX Sports has announced their broadcast teams for the upcoming 20th Anniversary season of the "NFL on FOX". It seems hard to believe that it's been 2 decades since FOX Sports started broadcasting the NFC package of NFL games, including the Bears locally.

While the top 3 broadcast crews remain intact for the network's 20th Anniversary season of the "NFL on FOX", the network has made some changes to the other broadcast teams for the upcoming season.

One of the changes is Kevin Burkhardt. Kevin was a PBP voice for the Dallas Cowboys on Compass Radio Networks & was a field reporter on SNY's coverage of the New York Mets before joining FOX. Kevin will be paired with John Lynch and sideline reporter Erin Andrews as the #4 broadcast team this season. Kevin, John & Erin's first assignment will be the Buccaneers/Jets' game at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ on September 8th at Noon.

Another notable newcomer is former Buccaneers' cornerback Ronde Barber. He'll be paired with the ageless Dick Stockton & sideline reporter Kris Budden as the "NFL on FOX's" #6 broadcast crew for the upcoming season. Dick, Ronde & Kris' first game will be the Week 1 matchup between the Cardinals & Rams in St. Louis September 8th at 3:25P.

Meanwhile, Chris Myers & Tim Ryan actually move up the depth chart this season. They'll be joined by Jennifer Hale on the sidelines, and their first game is the Seahawks/Panthers' game September 8th in Charlotte.

As for Sam Rosen, he's been commissioned again to call 3 of the 4 Bears' preseason games on the team-produced Chicago Bears Network with Jim Miller & FOX32's Lou Canellis starting with Friday's preseason opener in Charlotte. Come the regular season, Rosen will be calling "NFL on FOX" games with NFL Network's Heath Evans & sideline reporter Molly McGrath starting with the Week 2 matchup September 15th between the Lions & Cardinals at 3:05P from Glendale, AZ.

As for the "NFL on FOX" crews, here's how they stack up. Teams in BOLD are intact from last season:

1. Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Pam Oliver
2. Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston & Tony Siragusa
3. Thom Brennaman, Brian Billick & Laura Okmin

4. Kevin Burkhardt, John Lynch & Erin Andrews
5. Chris Myers, Tim Ryan & Jennifer Hale
6. Dick Stockton, Ronde Barber & Kris Budden
7. Sam Rosen, Heath Evans & Molly McGrath

I would've posted something sooner had it not for me working. Besides, this board was down last night, too.
