It may be the middle of September, but according to Sports Illustrated's Richard Deitsch, CBS/Turner Sports has raised some eyebrows with this news. Deitsch reports that CBS/Turner has flipflopped Clark Kellogg & onetime former Bull Greg Anthony's roles for the upcoming NCAA Basketball season this winter.

The plan is for Kellogg to return to the New York studio to co-host CBS/Turner's "Road to the Final Four", a role Clark had with studio host Greg Gumbel & Sports Illustrated's Seth Davis from 1997-2008. Kellogg replaced the retired Billy Packer as lead analyst that year and had worked the last 5 NCAA Championships with Jim Nantz, the last 2 with Steve Kerr as a three-man booth at courtside. It also paved the way for Anthony to join Gumbel & Davis in the NYC studio.

While the flipflop might raise quite a few eyebrows at both networks, consider this for a moment. With Turner/TBS about to take over as new home of the Final Four & the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship, possibly as soon as next year, the scoop is Anthony might not necessarily work with Nantz, but perhaps with another Turner guy with CBS ties. That's Marv Albert. Watch this space.

I was really hoping Khalid El-Amin would finally get his shot.

With Jack Haley as sideline reporter.

Isn't Anthony always going to be a "former Bull"?

I didn't do that. It must cut it off when the Re: is added to the title. I'm guessing there's a maximum character length.

Besides, Jason Collins is a lock for CBS' New Lead Anal
