No wonder the guy can't keep a job, and the one job he held onto for any length of time was with the worst ratings network, MSNBC, which is nothing more than the propaganda arm of the Democratic Party and the White House. One of his audition tapes is on Youtube where you can see the guy is disturbed (see link below). And he has the audacity to criticize Ditka, someone who always has been in demand, either as coach or commentator. Olberman is a swarmy know-it-all with the personality of a high school hall monitor. He used to have a segment on NBC called "Worst Person of the Year." If there was a bit called, "Tool of the Year" he would win every year hands down.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cTkrB5PBFYOnto the clip. He first points out that Ditka was being profane, something that should shock us. Are you serious? Clearly, Olberman doesn't watch much cable television, even though his show is on cable. Next he quips about Ditka not helping himself in citing other names that would seem ridiculous in comparison to the Redskins, yet Olberman himself does not offer any thoughts on any name that would be better while making stupid and childish faces at the camera. And then he uses Big Lackey's (formerly big fan) faulty logic of comparing the name changes of a former boxer and basketball player (whose birth names, Ferdinand Lewis Alcinder and Cashius Clay, were not popular to begin with) to the changing of a name of a professional sports team that has been around since the NFL started. How dumb can you be? What's funny is that while they roll the clip of the Ditka audio, video is played from Redskins games showing thousands of fans with Redskins jerseys on, including of the Big Red Indian! Then Olberman finishes it off by talking about something not even relevant, an amendment change to the Constitution that prohibited lawmakers from increasing their salaries. (Yawn) Then he uses self-deprecating humor in some dumb anecdote about Phil Sims.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ln4wJpZ7nZkAt no time did Olberman ever address the gist of Ditka's argument, that the name Redskins came into being as an NFL team name out of reverence for the heritage of the American Indians and for their bravery. Instead, the segment was all ridicule, Saul Alinsky style.
Man I love going after stupid liberals because their playbook is so obvious and they never address the truth.
