9. I think if Bill Simmons has proof that Roger Goodell lied, then I’ve got no problem with what he said that caused ESPN to suspend him for three weeks. If it’s his opinion that Goodell is lying, then I’ve got a problem with it. How do you publicly say someone is lying and is a liar—adding profanities for emphasis—without knowing for sure?

This is the most Peter King thing Peter King has written.

I used to love his columns.

He has now become a bloviating bag of gaseous material.

The NFL replay command center on the fifth floor of the league offices in Manhattan is 1,512 square feet in area. It has 82 televisions.

That, of course, is a shameless plug for a story I wrote the other day for The MMQB on an afternoon in the replay center. I think you’ll like it.

very very very obvious humblebrag that's more of a douchebag brag.

MMQB was must reading for me for years.

King has become an insufferable something or other over the last two years. I quit him altogether after week 2 this year.

I've noticed a significant decline in quality the last several years. Haven't read his column since probably 2012 though. Last one I read was just abysmal.

The Cleveland Browns might be the best team in the AFC North and might be the worst team in the AFC North. How can you know? We could enter Week 13 with all four teams in the division having seven wins. I’m no Elias Sports Bureau employee, but if it happens—Baltimore needs to win tonight at the Saints—there’s no way a division has ever been that tight after 12 weeks. (Is there, Elias?)

Why not contact them before publishing? You work for freaking Sports Illustrated not some blog. Geez.

It pains me not to pick Brian Hoyer, but the Browns did win, and Hoyer drove them to the winning field goal.

What? Why does it pain you?

Who?

Peter King voted Glover Quinn over Earl Thomas for All-Pro.

If that's not grounds for revoking his vote then I don't know what is.
