Not a big deal, but I guess FOX thinks NASCAR is more important since they went to the race and cut off the final two pitches of Yankees-Red Sox. I guess those NASCAR ratings and pleasing NASCAR is the most importang thing in the world.

And on a side note, the new FOX MLB remix theme is lame.

Guess what, folks? The next 2 Saturdays are Major League Baseball & NASCAR doubleheaders on FOX Sports, and here's hoping the ballgames don't overlap the scheduled start of the Crown Royal 400 in Richmond and the May 10th Sprint Cup Dodge Challenger 500 at Darlington, S.C. I hope FOX has a better contingency plan in the event the Cubs & Cardinals, for example, overlap the scheduled start of the Sprint Cup race. I think FOX waited as long as they could to delay the start of the Subway 500 in Phoenix about 3 weeks ago, but mishandled the Yankees/Red Sox delay due to rain. Unlike the Yankees & Red Sox, if the Cubs/Cardinals' game is delayed by rain or goes to extra innings Saturday, FOX should stay with the ballgame and head to NASCAR shortly thereafter in Chicago & St. Louis at least. FOX needs a better contingency plan in the event baseball runs late. The network has billions invested in both MLB & NASCAR this time of the year...
