I haven't watched ATH since HS circa 2004. I'm having a drink and the bar I'm at has it on all five screens. Someone help me out here with a few questions?

1) Who is Israel Guiterrez?
2) When did Kevin Blackistone start looking like a homeless person?
3) WTF is up with Frank Isolas teeth?

Getting canceled later on this year. Good riddance. Used to be a great show before it went woke. It's been unwatchable for quite a few years.

Final show next Friday. Being woke and racist ruined it. Was once a great show.

Michael Wilbon was a little too name-droppy for my tastes.

the show has always been woke from Day 1 simply because of Kornheiser and the fact it was outta D.C.

I watched the show in the early days mainly cuz of Wilbon. I always hated Kornheiser. He was ugly and just oozed that east coast liberal bias.

Surprised it's still around.

Young Wilbon was an excellent writer. Chet would have him on back in the day before he was a columnist, he was an NFL beat writer. His only real fault was that he was a SICP graduate.

When he started jock-sniffing the NBA stars, made enough to buy a second home in a fancy part of Scottsdale, and left the Post, he really lost his way. Now he's the black Bill Gleason shouting at everyone to get off of his lawn and play the games like they did in the 1970s except with black quarterbacks.

Waddle and Silvy have him on every Wednesday and it is unlistenable. He name drops constantly, has a holier then thou attitude and his sport takes are horrible.

They ask him a question and he says either he is above discussing mundane topics, his famous friend (Magic, Charles or someone else in the industry) told him A, B and C about the topic or the audience can't possible understand the answer because they don't have the same experience that he does working in the industry for 40 years.

When Wilbon name-drops his sports figure friends he classifies them by how rich they are and how much he can benefit from their friendship. From good friend to the highest my dear friend reserved for rich owners like the Suns and Michael Reinsdorf.
