While economic cutbacks have prevented both of Chicago's and other sports talk radio stations across America from sending their shows to Miami for Super Bowl XLIV, Dan Patrick is one of the few shows broadcasting from the Super Bowl City. If you are like SHARK and have DIRECTV, you can check out the "Dan Patrick Show" on the 101 Network weekday mornings from 8-11a, broadcasting from the beach adjacent to the W Hotel in Miami Beach and where the "Celebrity Beach Bowl" will be broadcasting this weekend. It's an event that D.P. himself will be a big part of.

Dan will be hosting the pregame show for the 4th Annual "Celebrity Beach Bowl" at 12:30p this Saturday, complete with an interview with former football player turned MMA fighter Herschel Walker. Then, Dan, former "Access Hollywood" host Nancy O'Dell & former WMAQ Radio sports anchor Andrew Siciliano, now with FOX Sports Radio, describe the action as New York Giants' QB Eli Manning & New York Jets' QB Mark Sanchez coach a lineup of big time celebrities in the satellite provider's 4th Annual "Beach Bowl" at 1:30p Saturday afternoon. By the way, O'Dell is scheduled to be on the Patrick show tomorrow.

It's a 6-on-6 flag football game in the sand, complete with stars such as Keenan Ivory, Marlan & Shawn Wayans, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Marisa Miller, actor Michael Clarke Duncan, G4's Olivia Munn, singer turned talk show host Brian McKnight, and yes, Jennifer Lopez, on the receiving end of passes from quarterbacks/captains Rich Gannon & Hall of Famer Warren Moon. Other former players, such as Daryl "Moose" Johnston, Desmond Jones, Mark Schlereth, Eddie George, Merril Hoge & LaRoi Glover will also take the sand field to play in the game. If you have DIRECTV like SHARK, it's something to whet your whistle for Sunday's Super Bowl.

The teenage girls yelled for Taylor Lautner of "Twilight" fame every time his face appeared. Jennifer Lopez didn't necessarily play in the game, but she was part of the honorary coin toss and Brian McKnight sang the National Anthem. The folks at DIRECTV will rerun the game throughout the week on the 101 in case you missed it.

Kinda of hard to call it a Celebrity Game when Tom Arnold is playing in the game.
