I'm watching the Giants beat the Panthers. The game's near the end. With the Bears nowhere in sight for an entire day, Joe Buck just couldn't stop. Literally out of nowhere, with no introduction or any reference to the Bears preceding it, he comes out with this: "The one thing Rex Grossman can't do with that defense is turn the ball over. At least Eli Manning doesn't do that."

He can't leave it alone. He really hates Grossman and the Bears that much. I'll tell you what, I only hope that punk has to watch the Bears crush everyone in sight during the playoffs. I hope he's doing every game and I hope he chokes on it!

I'm really starting to despise Joe Buck. I don't know what happened to him, I used to think he was good. I think in the beginning he was trying to get past being "Joe Buck's kid". Now he really thinks he's a star, and everyone wants to hear his "expert" opinion. He was particularly smug on Costas Now the other night.

As far as his hard on for the Bears, I'm guessing it's his St. Louis ties? It's becoming an uncomfortable listen. He's starting to remind me of Gifford back in the MNF days. It was obvious he hated Chicago. The only complimentary thing he'd ever say was that Chicago was a clean city.

I'm going to guess you're right. I figure that when you're a professional and you're on a national broadcast you're supposed to rise above feelings like that. I'm thinking the guy needs to grow up.

I think it's just saturation--I mean, he does the pregame show on the NFL, the NFL, and baseball. He's good, but he's not this legendary presence in the booth. And I think he's a mini-Al Michaels except Al Michaels has "Do you believe in miracles?" Joe Buck has the Leon commercials and...

"that is embarassing!" the rant on Randy Moss that was really uncalled for and over the top.

Several football analysts are on the "Bash Grossman" bandwagon.
I remember one of the guys on NFL network, looks like Nate Newton, trashing Grossman but complimenting the vaunted Bears defense.
What games has he been watching lately. Do a little homework next time.
