I was talking with a board member the other day about a Football booth with Stockton, Dierdorf and Kornheiser. He called it "Hell Booth". I got to thinking, can you imagine a baseball booth with Chip Caray and Ron Santo?
What's some good hell booths?

Any booth with Dick Stockton in it is enough to make Chicago sports fans cringe... You know your team sucks when FOX Sports assigns Chris Myers (or Chris Rose for that matter) to call your team's game with Trent Green, not to mention when Bill Macatee & Steve Beuerlein or Don Criqui & Randy Cross get the NFL assignment for CBS Sports.

Chris Berman and Zack Zaidman. Covers two axes of terrible broadcasting.

edit: Chris Berman and Joe Buck would be just as bad, if not worse.

George Will, Dennis Miller & Rush Limbaugh.

And not just for their politics. There is nothing worse than a group of wanna-be/never-were athletes(jock sniffers) above the game they're watching and the fans they're broadcasting to.

And they were that in spades.

And they were that in spades.

Rush Limbaugh had no business as an "analyst" when he had a brief cup of coffee on ESPN's "Sunday NFL Countdown", even before what he said about Eagles' QB Donovan McNabb that caused quite a firestorm.

Dennis Miller may have been funny when he was on "Saturday Night Live" in the late '80s on "Weekend Update", but Dennis & Dan Fouts on "Monday Night Football" with Al Michaels was awkward from the getgo when ABC Sports still had the primetime showcase.

As for George Will, he's been a fixture on ABC News' "This Week" over the years as a commentator and regular panelist asking politicians probing questions from the Beltway. He's made no secret of his love for baseball, but he's a real bore.

Last but not least, Tony Kornheiser felt not only bored, but he seemed kinda homesick when he, Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski & Joe Theismann all worked "MNF" when ESPN replaced ABC as the home of the primetime football showcase in 2006.

Moint, those are all painful to consider. Gives me shivers.

While cramming a bunch of dopes into one booth might be an accurate depiction of hell, what about some of these guys (Stockton) flying solo or calling other sports (Buck doing basketball)?

since it's a nightmare booth, I'll pair three color analysts:

Bill Walton, Ron Santo and Dick Vitale. Hands down. They'll be doing a basketball game so Ron will sound even more clueless.

This booth might actually be entertaining.

Oh. I see that now.

I thought I was clever with my fake mult.

What about Rosie O'Donnell and Jessica Simpson at an Applebees?
