I used to use Spotify and Pandora but switched to Apple music. You can play any song at anytime plus I love the lyrics feature. When I received the free satellite radio subscription in the past, I seem to recall the stations repeating songs a lot.

I guess we are blessed with lots of good, cheap options.

Scott Darling interview on Red Line Radio was great.

Barstool is crushing it now for they are SPORTS, gambling, and fun.

Remember when I used to listen to the Score, Bernstein and Goff about to get real on serious issues. Not just them, both sooooooo many virtue signalers on left and right. The guy Clay Travis is just as annoying on the right.

They have a great sports entertainment strategy, hit middle America with sports, girls, gambling, dab a little political from time to time, but keep the fun.

Barstool Sportsbook, coming soon to NW Indiana. I'm sure the Penn properties in Illinois will convert their sportsbooks over as well soon. Mobile betting app launching soon in MI and will be live in IL some point in 2021

More proof that Barstool is basically a party planning and t-shirt making service that also makes podcasts. The business model seems to work though.

In the eyes of Penn and their shareholders, it's the marketing side of the company, except this marketing team actually generates positive cash flow on its own.

Think about the tens or hundreds of millions Draft Kings has to spend on ads. Penn spends none of that and just lets Barstool drive their sports gaming traffic.

It's not unlike Sears creating a radio station in the 1920s to push radio sales and reach new customers. That station is still with us today in Chicago.

It's not appreciably different from adult-contemporary radio stations hosting wedding expos while also happening to play music on a giant transmitter.

No doubt it works.

Hollywood casinos in Aurora and Joliet are both operated by Penn. They do plan on turning their sportsbooks to Barstool branding there, but I haven't heard a date on it.

The future Barstool Sportsbook in Aurora will drive a certain Aurora resident insane

Portnoy saving Manny's Deli, a Chicago institution

Funny that Deadspin, which has centered their new operation around Chicago, hasn't done jack shit for anyone in this city.

They get a $1 million match from a donor for hitting $14 million by midnight. They're going to do it over 6 hours before the deadline.

Dozens upon dozens of businesses saved and hundreds if not thousands of jobs saved. The way they are doing this with the payments to businesses recurring monthly until Covid ends is genius.
