You don't really notice as much in the NBA because nobody really cares about local NBA broadcasts, but in baseball and hockey there are some broadcasting teams where this consensus has emerged around them and no one can question it--Giants and Mets in baseball, Stars and Hurricanes in the NHL. The Mets, I'll give them, because I get why people dig the Keith Hernandez shtick, but I never thought there was anything
that special about Kuiper and Krukow except that they did the old MVP Baseball video games. The Daryl Reaugh thing, I especially never got.
