The NY Times has reported that Harold Reynolds (of Baseball Tonite) has been fired by ESPN. No reason for the dismissal has been given.

ESPN The Uncensored History is definitely worth a look. ESPN definitely has a history of sexual harassment and being an uncomfortable work environment for women. Mike Tirico in particular has his indiscretions (blatant and unwelcome sexual advances at ESPN parties, for instance) discussed at great length in the book. It's also a great book if you're interested in how the network got started. The network has come a long way from its initial broadcast that originated from a trailer in a muddy lot to the behemoth it has become today. It's interesting to contrast ESPN's humble beginnings with the self-important entity it has evolved into.
