If anyone is interested in a pretty good listen, Jason Whitlock and Seth Davis recently had an excellent discussion over paying college players (6-29) If you like that, Whitlock and Christopher "Kid" Reid had a fantastic discussion over hip hop music in sports (3-10). One of the best sports podcasts I've ever heard.

You can download Whitlock's podcasts on Itunes. Don't let Whitlock's forgettable appearance on B&B a couple months back sway your opinion on Whitlock. While at times I strongly disagree with his ideas, most of the time I find myself agreeing with him. I turn off some of his podcasts in the first 10 minutes but some are absolutely fantastic.

No one has ever made a good case for "paying players" in college sports. Reimbursing for living expenses maybe but "paying players" is the dumbest idea in all of sports and is just stupid filler for the boring sports months until football starts.

I liked Whitlock ever since he called out Scoop Jackson. I can't think of a columnist I disagree with more who I like as much as Whitlock.

Star basketball and football players are definitely exploited but I don't necessarily advocate paying the players.

Dumbest idea in all of sports might be a little bit of an exaggeration.
