For a few years now, Major League Baseball's postseason has been found on 3 places in October. While fans could listen to all the games on ESPN Radio nationally, Turner/TBS Sports has covered all Divisional Series matchups and has alternated League Championship Series with FOX Sports before FOX & ESPN Radio cover the World Series. With the added Wildcards in both the American & National League, MLB has announced which network will carry those games, plus has added another broadcast partner for a couple of other divisional playoff games.

MLB has announced that TBS will carry the 2 new Wildcard games that'll start the MLB Playoffs this October, as well as in 2013. At the same time, 2 of those Division Series games that TBS previously televised will now be broadcast by MLB Network. While they will be the first playoff games in the 3 year history of MLBN, it remains to be seen if those games will be described by MLBN's own broadcast crew headlined by Bob Costas, Matt Vasgersian and their lineup of analysts such as Mitch "Wild Thing" Williams, Harold Reynolds & John Smoltz to name a few.
