He's been part of the ESPN team since 1995. His smooth-sounding voice has been heard on ESPN's "Wednesday Night Baseball" from 2002-07 & "Monday Night Baseball" from 2008-10. He's also called NBA & NCAA Basketball games on both ESPN & ESPN Radio as well. He's also the 2012 NSSA Sportscaster of the Year and has just signed an extension.

He's Dan Shulman, who replaced Jon Miller in 2011 as the principal voice of the "Sunday Night Baseball" game with Orel Hershiser during the spring & summer on ESPN, as well as the Division Series, League Championship Series & World Series on ESPN Radio during October. He also calls plenty of NCAA Basketball with ESPN original Dick Vitale during the winter months, highlighted by ESPN's Saturday night primetime game during the winter months.

Shulman has signed a multi-year extension to stay with ESPN. Although terms of Dan's new deal weren't disclosed, his boss, along with his partners on both MLB & NCAA Basketball offer nothing but praise & respect for the versatile play-by-play voice.

"Dan's one of the most versatile play-by-play commentators in our industry," said Jed Drake, ESPN Senior Vice President & Executive Producer. "Dan's voice has become unmistakable, his storytelling ability is top-notch and his penchant for making his colleagues better is an incredible asset to ESPN and sports fans." Hershiser adds that "Dan serves sports fans to the highest level", while Vitale calls Shulman "multitalented and an analysts' dream to work with."

Fans will hear Dan & Orel paint the picture for ESPN Radio's national broadcast of the World Series starting Wednesday night in the National League city. The Detroit Tigers will provide the opposition.
