Funny this should come up as it was a topic of pillowtalk for me yesterday. I was of the opinion that I would be perfectly happy watching the game by myself with a 2 liter of coke and a well done sausage Lou Malnatti's by my side. I have no need for conversation or any side distraction. Just me and the game. If they win, I want to be able to squeeze every moment of post game out of my TV. If they lose I will be inconsolable.

On another note, I was dropping F bombs throughout most of the Saints game. I was intentionally trying to stop and I could not do it. I don't imagine I will be accepted in polite company on Sunday.

Still, I may be going to a party. There will be kids and women and conversation about commercials at this party. The host of the party and his brother always put me down when I bark like Singeltary-Marshall-Wilson used to do. This could get veeeeeery ugly.

You don't say, Nas. I had absolutely no idea the wind blew that way. Thanks for clearing that up buddy.

I have attended the same party for five years. Usually spend the game in the garage with the smokers, drink and eat, then leave at 10:00.

This year I took a vacation day for Monday, and will be inside watching every play and "shushing" those who yammer on about the cool commercials and burrito halftime show. When the game is over, we will be switching to Bears' postgame for the breakdown and victory speeches by Lovie and Rex.

I was a nervous wreck before the Seagulls and Saints game. I am calm and in a zen-like state for I know the Bears will win. Don't care about the score, the spread, ov/un, if it's a blowout or defensive struggle.

The Bears will win.

That's how I roll. :D

Hey Phil Jackson, of course you are in a zen state. If the Bears win, none of us have to worry about the spread.

i won't really know what i'm doing until Friday night.....

haven't talked to new girl in a couple of days....so, who knows what's happening there. but, the phone works both ways and i'm borderline "that guy" already......
why are they all crazy? why? :?

i figure i may just take some painkillers (just in case), do some shots of jameson, smoke myself to death, sit in the dark and focus on the manning smashing.....seems more fun than any sports bar could be.

Coach,

I say you should go. I am a firm believer in karma, and think you have the intestinal fortitude to put up with some asshats for a few hours.

When you are faced with a dilemna like this ask yourself, "What Would Lovie Do?"

Hell YES! I bought my parents old house back so I could sit in the living room and watch since the Beloved are 1-0 in Super Bowls when I watch there.

Do you know what a pain in the ass it was to find an old 25 inch, wood-framed, Zenith console TV with built-in speakers.

It's nothing wrong with not talking to your girl in a couple of days. Some people might argue that's a good thing. It's always good to have a little time away from each other.

Um.. along those lines, Colts 34, Bears 14. ;)

This needs to be a group effort; all Karma on deck.

go to the same place coach-- karma.

when the bears lost to the packers, i changed most of my avatars, profiles, myspace, etc. since, the beloved have not lost, and i shant change anything until at least monday.

now, i havent watched the games in the same place being that ive been in different parts of the country, however for both playoff games i was wearing my urlacher jersey, bears hat, and the same pair of pants and shoes. i will wear the same outfit on super bowl sunday as well. i am so neurotic about this that i will be keeping these clothes in my backpack (carry on) so that in case my checked suitcase gets lost, i still have my lucky bears ensemble.

BEARSSS!!

No Nas you're good. You have been the biggest Rex backer outside of his family. You just ooze karma being yourself, signature be damned. You can do no wrong.

Actually, didn't the original Nostradamus predict this outcome hundreds of years ago? I think he wrote something like : Doth know that some slinger of the guns from the land of the Indian will leadeth the city of the wind, known for monsters, to the city of the sun and the sea to tame the beast of burden with the upside down u symbol with a leader of the ages beget from the city of the most horrible tempest of a storm that nearly flooded it into the sea. . . or something like that. (Ask stoneroses . . . he's more poetic than I am) They all probably thought that guy was nuts back in 1549. Little did they know.

 - I liked it Warrior.

The original Nostradamus has always been so disrespected. People have always been looking for a better prophet since 1555 - saying he has been more lucky than good, his prophet competition is better, etc.

Gentlemen, someone needs to let M-Jeff know he had pretty average hop's. After really breaking down this pic. Let's go with Desmond at 6'4" and he is on tippy toes so we are up at 6"7". This put's his waistline at a height of 46"+ from the ground....and Berrian has leaped ABOVE his waist??

Beeeeeeeeeaaarrrrssss.

No wonder Linda S. likes J. McKie so much. Look at his concern for his tossed teammate B. Berrian.
