I wouldn't rule it out, probably because the Redskins aren't exactly satisfied with Rex Grossman or John Beck, Bucky. Needless to say, John played more like Conservative know-it-all Glenn Beck when head coach Mike Shanahan benched Rex earlier this season.

I thought he played more like Nancy Grace

I think we will see if the Colts are tanking the season for Andrew Luck depending on if they claim Orton. He would be a definite improvement over what they have currently. If they are trying to win games, they'll go after Kyle. If not, they won't.

At this stage, the Bears have yet to sign a veteran backup. The names Josh McCown & J.T. O'Sullivan, both QBs familiar with Mike Martz's offense, have been mentioned, but so far, no move...yet.

That's because Orton's waiver claim situation won't be announced for a few more hours.

BC, the deadline is 3p (CT) this afternoon for teams to claim Kyle Orton. Even if he's claimed, Caleb Hanie starts the game in Oakland no matter what.
