Yeah. Upon closer inspection, you might be right.

And I'm wearing loafers.

100% correct. They are trying to change behavior because both sports see that Congressional regulation is coming. Plus they see civil liability. Ultimately, I put this on the players. They have a choice to blow up a defenseless player, and they continue to demonstrate the idiocy of their mindset.

that hit reminded me of warren sapp's hit on chad clifton 10 years ago or so. my how times have changed - i dont think that play got a flag either. i can remember hearing talk on the radio about how it was cliftons fault for moving towards the play and how when you are on the field and moving towards the play you are open game. sapp launched himself at him and broke his pelvis.

both of those plays are sucker shots specifically designed to hurt someone from the blind side, - totally unnecessary.

This was clearly a cheap shot. It really sucks to lose Lance Louis. He was by far their best lineman. They basically tried to run every play to his side or have him pull when they couldn't run it to his side. I just want to point out that I was right about him. Some of you all laughed at my prediction of him as a player. Especially when he got benched his rookie year. Cutler's weekly pick got his best linemen injured.

You don't understand what it is like to lose a starter from a first place team in 2012

 touché. The drama queen whining over his loss is totally overblown. The Bears didn't lose Carl Nicks or some all-pro guard. Next man up. And if no o-lineman depth is the next complaint the blame should be directed at Emery for valuing special teams depth over everything.

Shut up. There are dozens of posts in the Packers thread bitching about their injuries. No Matthews? No Woodson? Next man up!

He was one of their top 10 most valuable players.

He's a guard. Seasons aren't won or lost on the loss of a marginal guard. I'd wager losing J'Marcus Webb would be a more impactful loss.

He was by far their best lineman. They tried to run every play to his side of the field or let him pull. The coaches and Cutler would probably admit he was the last guy they wanted to lose. I think it was the SF game where the announcers said "if you want to know where the ball is going follow Lance Louis".

Strange...his knee is the last thing I would think was injured on that hit.
