On #5, that simply reflects the populist narrative.
If you are a person who lives in Minnesota, why should you think that Jay Cutler is better than Alex Smith, Cam Newton, or Andy Dalton?

It isn't a populist narrative. It's that Cutler really has done nothing to show he is anything but average since Denver. As most fan bases do, the players on your team are always overrated or underrated. I'm sure the average Minnesota fan doesn't think that Devin Hester is a hall of fame caliber player either.

The quick surrender by some Bears fans on Gabe Carimi is stupid. He has not had one full offseason with the lockout and knee injury rehab to properly weight train and work on technique.

And even if Carimi does bust out, Bears fans should not being whining about Angelo biffing another 1st round pick. Nearly every Bears fan was crying for an offensive tackle in the draft. Gabe Carimi was the consensus best tackle available from the o-line factory Wisconsin. 99% of Bears fans agreed with the pick.

Just like with the Packers Derek Sherrod pick, injuries screw up development and more time should be given before declaring a conclusion.
