Obviousely it isnt taught enough. How many times do you see Tillman pick up a ball and run, even when you know the play is over. It sets the tone for everyone else to pick up every single loose ball.

James Anderson runs by the ball and doesnt scoop it up. Carolina didnt release him because he was good!

Yeah, that's annoying. I swear a defensive player picks up the ball and runs at least a couple times a game on incomplete passes.

The one time it would have worked...

It was fuckin' unbelievable.

That was literally a 14 point swing, cuz I think we score if our dip shit picks it up instead of skipping over it.

Both teams standing around with a thumb up their asses. That's why I was sure there was a whistle. How can so many not know to fall on a ball any time it is sitting there?

OK, but James Anderson ran over the ball and made little to no effort to pick the ball up. Its why they say PICK IT UP just in case.

Imagine him then trying to give the ball back to the ref and the ref just standing there.

Granted they ran by Briggs and Bowman, but Anderson had the ball

With that crew the ref would have grabbed the ball and punted it into the end zone and then called the Bears for a safety.
