I am not promoting the re-sign McCown issue, but is Palmer really a capable QB? Didnt they cut him last year and keep Jerrod Johnson as the 3rd guy?

I think Palmer has thrown like 10 passes in 10 years?

The offense is primed, the defense is going to do nothing but get better (They cant get worse), but they are putting a huge emphasis on and seeing a 15th ranked defense is a possible goal, which would have a huge impact.

If Jay is out for the season, OK, we arent winning shit. So then it doesnt matter. But if he is out for 4 weeks, are we going to lose to below .500 teams again?

There are a few QBs out there that have thrown NFL passes or can at least run an offense. Vick, Clemons, Weeden, Kolb, McCoy......I know these guys arent great, but I think $2 Mill or under gets them today.

However, if Tresty and Philly think Jordan can be the next McCown, so be it! I hope we never even have to ask the question.

Emery said today they are going to sign at least 1 or 2 more QBs. I bet Weeden is one.

Also said they might look for one in the draft.

I expect one for sure....not even saying it is a Vet....but a project, taxi squad guy I am sure is going to be signed. I just hope thats not what he means....even though I do want to sign one of those...see if Tresty can GROW one.

Aaron Murray gets drafted in the 5th and takes a redshirt year of IR because of a knee that hasn't healed.
