I didn't even address Lovie's offensive abilities. He started a QB controversy with a journeyman when he had a rookie who showed a lot of promise.

Like I said, you're assuming Cutler is going to make the right reads even though he's never been that guy.

I think he's disparaging McCown's abilities rather than touting Cutler. I also think McCown will regress back to his career norm, mainly because he's moving on from an offensive minded coach to a coach known for his lack of attention to detail on offense.
