Not sure how serious you are but this kid was fastest corner and can be.

Its just a wording trick.

Now if Kyle Long or Kyle Fuller make the pro bowl that statement is true.

So do we think that this pick was the one pick that Emery will get right or will that happen tonight or tomorrow?

Can Bears fans do simple math? Where the hell are these calls that Fuller will be a replica of Charles Tillman. Here's where they measured out at the combine:

Tillman: 6'1 207 lbs
40 yard: 4.49
Vertical leap: 40 in
Broad jump: 131 in
20 yd shuttle: 3.89
3 cone: 7.05

Kyle Fuller: 6'0 190 lbs
40 yard: 4.49
Vertical leap: 38.5 in
Broad jump: 128 in
20 yd shuttle: 4.19
3 cone: 6.90

Tillman is superior to him in nearly all respects but looks like the same player to me!

I can't really argue with combine numbers but I think we all know that Tillman isn't anywhere near those
numbers as a veteran player so you bring in a guy to learn under two very good corners and if Tillman
or Jennings go down with any kind of injury you are covered at an important spot. From what I read the
kid is a sure tackler which is really important for this defense. There wasn't much to stop running backs
last year when they got past the first level of the defense.

I think they should have taken Manziel

Fuller will be decent. Ill bet the 2nd rd pick ends up better though.

I think we are ignoring that this pick is now under the tutelage of Mel Tucker and co. Not exactly encouraging.

The problem is they really couldn't, based on the Cutler deal.

We have our first solid evidence here that the "flexibility" given by the Cutler deal was fools gold.

When I heard the name Kyle Fuller, my initial thought was that Emery had drafted a white cornerback.

When I think of the elite corners of today's game in Haden, Revis, Sherman, Peterson the 1st thing that pops into my head is their versatility to play multiple corner positions. Or is it?

I think the guy will be solid. I think the comparison to Tillman isn't the measurables as much as the physical style of play and ability to support the run D and tackle. I think Mosely has more upside potential but I could see not risking taking another injury guy.

My thought is if they shouldn't have traded up 1 spot to get Donald. What would that have cost? A 4th? Cleveland just went from 9th to 8th only giving up a 5th rounder. Maybe even a 5th or 6th round could move you from 14 to 13. I think it would have been worth it.

I think Phil done goofed here.

Maybe we can get Bucannon in the 2nd..

Even if the guy only plays nickel next year, that is like 60% of your defense these days.

Emery obviously thought the safeties at the top of this draft were overrated (in terms of where they were being projected to be drafted). Many did. Now look at the team that bit first on a safety (Jets). They are not known for being particularly astute. Even the 49ers organization seemed to reach a little on Ward.

Where is this coming from in the past couple of days? I am pretty liberal in my approach to the art of love making. I don't think I have given any indications otherwise.

I draw the line at another dude being in the room or anything having to do with two girls and one cup.

Doc, how could they have traded up one pick to get Donald when Donald went the pick right before them? They would have had to traded up at least 2 spots. Maybe no one was willing to do that, or maybe they did not want to give up later picks? I hardly ever think trading up is worth it.

Maybe so. I'm not certain you need to tell the team who you are going to take although I seem to recall teams doing it in the past. If I were the Rams, I would insist on the Bears telling me who they would take. I think it would be bad form for the Bears to lie in that situation for the future.

Also, it would depend on the value that the Rams put on Donald or if they would be just as happy with another guy and an extra pick.

After hearing Fuller on M&H this morning there's no doubt that he's going to take it one day at a time and try to get better each day.

Dix and Pryor aren't overrated at 14. And I'll take a player at a position of need that plays 100% of defensive plays over a player that isn't of immediate need that plays 60% all day long and be ok with it.

Again, I think Fuller will be good, but grabbing a top rated saftey that you actually need is better.

Also, just to throw it out there, love Phil getting up there and talking about how well his #1 grades out in special teams. What an asshole.
