They almost HAVE to cut him. They did everything they could to stand by the guy.
I suppose maybe try to trade him, see if a chance in scenery is good for him but he does not belong on this roster and in my opinion, in the NFL.

Didn't know you thought so highly of him.

Point taken. Shitbag would have been the proper term.

We like Shea. He had a good practice this week. We'll look at the tape and go from there.

Uh wait no. Disregard.

Spot on.

Also...."there are times in practice when Shea is the best player out there. "

I hope we don't have the offensive Lovie Smith, I hope Trestman knows what he is doing on defense.

He doesn't need to know defense, he needs to hire people who know defense. That was Lovie's problem with the offense.

Not sure if Tucker is the answer but I think the talent we have on defense can overcome mediocre coaching.

Saw Tucker on a segment on some NFL Network show. He does not strike me as particularly bright.

Yeah I don't have a lot of confidence in Tucker.

I hope so, the first two possessions they gave up 6 points and the turnover possession they gave up a touchdown after stopping the jags twice. But maybe I'm being optimistic about it.

His resume isn't too impressive either.

It definitely wasn't good enough to become the defensive coordinator of the Bears.

Agreed. He seems to be the Shea Mcclellin of coaches.

He has to be cut this week. Make up some bs about giving him an opportunity to catch on somewhere else. He cannot play NFL football.

Either that, or send him down to Miami for some of the doctor's "leftovers"

He will come into the season as a starter because Emery refuses to admit what we all know.

I really thought that Shea might have a chance at LB...but he just looks awful. The Bears cant afford to waste a roster spot on him & hopefully they release him & move on.

I still think they may be able to find a 3-4 team that thinks he has been miscast. If they let him go, someone will sign him. Hopefully they can move him for a 5th...of Jack Daniels.

I think they need to find a veteran LB immediately for that spot. They don't need a dynamic player, just one to fill the position for the year. Is Joe Cain available?

The defense was shredded. I keyed in on Shea. He looked horrible.

He'll look right at home on the Packers defense getting pancaked or corkscrewed into the ground. Green Bay would remind him of rural Idaho.
