Not to mention the standing around four yards behind the QB as the blitz is coming...

I'm glad I'm not the only one that saw that. He was supposed to help Tait but he was standing behind Grossman. I didn't know it was possible to pick up a blitz when you are behind the quarterback.

One of my good friends who is a die hard Bears fan tried to convince me that was all Taits fault, and Benson was just going over to the right to help out. He would not be convinced otherwise. I cannot believe he wasnt seeing the obvious.

Not only did he go to his right to help out as Grossman was getting sacked (there was no need for help on that side) he was at least 3 yards behind Grossman. The fact that he admits he doesn't watch tape or listen to the coaches will have him out of town in no time.

Not only all of that, but there was a slot WR there, and I know Grossman sucks at quick reads, but if they were blitzing from the right that guy would be open right away. I could not believe my friend was defending Benson. It was so damn obvious. I cant believe there is a starting RB worse than Brandon Jackson at picking up blitzes.

The fact of the matter is: there isn't just ONE thing wrong with that team, gentlemen. In fact, this team has the possibility of going back to the good ol' days of Brad Maynard being the MVP (if he's healthy, that is).

I think Griese will energize the offense. At the very least he won't turn the ball over as much as Grossman. The only thing I'm worried about is that he will be asked to do something he has never done. With the defense likely to be bad because of injuries Griese will be forced to win games with a bad offense. That seems like a tall task.

Too tall for him, at least. He has never been a player who can elevate a team's level of play. He is competent, nothing more.

Why does this coaching staff treat Rex Grossman and Cedric Benson completely different? Why is it that Benson may fumble or not get going... BENCH THIS PISS OF SHIT LOVIE! WAKE THE FUCK UP!

I thought you're a Colts fan, right? Why are you so passionate about the Bears?

They've always been my number two team. Unfortunately for me, I saw more Bears regular season games up until about 96 when I started going to restaurants with all of the games on TV's. Colts were always number one, but I also followed the Bears. As much as people want to create it on this board, I have no ill will at all against the Bears. I called out Bears fans from time to time, but for the most part it was a shot at Chicago fans. I think it's the White Sox Bears fans that drive me nuts....
