Of course they didnt show it, but this guy is so worried about what pople say about him, maybe he should just learn how to tackle. I think he just wants to make a big hit so he can show everyone how good he is. Just tackle,then maybe your shoulder wont be injured on every play!

I think he is one of these guys who has had life by the balls since the day he was born being affluent, athletic and good looking. He has never heard criticism. This is his first taste and he has really handled it poorly. I have probably read half a dozen stories since training camp about him complaining about receiving negative feedback from fans.

That stadium was packed with Bears fans last night. You could hear them chanting "let's go Bears" in the 4Q. I bet it was Bears fans that got to him. It sure looked like he challenged them to "come down here and say that"

Don't know if it was intentional or not, but nice reference there with a bear, a cross and Conte.

Proper tackling technique is a long lost art in the NFL. At some point in their younger years all of these guys were tought how to square up and tackle at the waist. Not sure why they lose some fundamentals as they get older. I would think that with the new rules that allow for the refs to throw the flag for anything that is even close to a helmet to helmet hit, that proper tackle technique would be of interest to NFL coaches and players. It is frustrating as hell to watch guys flailing around with their arms up near the pads.

It is concussion fear and moms. My kid's HS team rarely ever has live tackling drills like most would call oklahomas. Either not enough kids to risk the concussion or cannot deal with the 2-3 weeks to get a kid back even if there is a minor symptom. From here on out generationally I predict tackling to suffer.

I just asked my son and they can only live tackle 2 hours a week. There are no limits to what they call wraps, not taking them to the ground, but yes it will become the norm. The coaches just put this in play 2 weeks prior to the season and apparently will be more the norm around the country. The WIAA stated that they saw this coming and wanted to get out in front of it. It will affect tackling, it can't help from it.
