Watch out for Griese knee. I don't believe it is 100%. I read or heard somewhere he had it iced up pretty good or had a brace on it.

OK. Will Orton play this year? If so, when will he get in?

(I was thinking yes, by the 2nd half of the Philly game).

Orton should be next in line but he probably won't play unless the Bears are out of it. It sucks but he should get a chance to start next season unless the Bears pick up a guy like McNabb.

If Griese can't go, what would be the benefit of playing Grossman over Orton? We know what Grossman can and cannot do, and he will not be back next year. To my way of thinking, Orton should be number two and possibly move up to number one if Griese stalls out.

Cmon, you think he's done in the NFL?

Nah, he's not done in the NFL. As long as his arm doesn't fall off, he'll find work with an NFL team as a 2nd stringer.

No, he will be somewhere--most likely as a second stringer. I'm guessing Tampa, since they like to stockpile QBs. Maybe Miami? They will take just about anyone.

If Trent Dilfer can still find a job, then so can Grossman.

Alright, but we're placing you on a 90-post probation.

Thank you for your patience. I will hopefully make my mark by then. Like I said, I've been a reader for a long time and I understand I need to prove myself to you guys. I think I can do that.

FYI, if you want to fix your quote function so it looks normal go into your profile at the top and switch Always Allow HTML to No and it will work right.

Rex Grossman would do well working in a bakery. I think he's pretty good with making the doughnuts and turnovers.

Maybe UPS would be a better fit...see 'cause they have that new package intercept feature and all........no?....OK, I'll be quiet now.

There is no reason for Rex Grossman to ever take another snap in a Chicago Bears' uniform. He has not proven anything other than being extremely lucky for having the defense that he had around him last year and that he can sparatically hit a streaking Berrian in the head with a ball.

Wouldn't sending a recent starting QB to another team during the regular season result in the other team having your Offensive playbook?

On 2nd thought, sending another team Grossman + Turner's Offensive schema would be like sending them the Offensive plague.

Frank, if you have been reading a long time you know that you should consider yourself lucky. Many posters are not kind to new posters.
I think Rex will take Joan Cusack's job as the rep for Sprint....

Stockpile because they tend to break their QB's. Good Lord is that team snakebit when it comes to QB's.
