Bears could and certainly have done a lot worse in the back up department.

I'm liking this move.

Hoyer never has really proven to be a starter but a solid back up for sure.

Best back up we've had since Griese, I like it.

Good pickup for the Bear.

I accept this; if this was THE PLAN all along, then kudo to Pace for not drafting a QB that would have probably been relegated to the PS anyway.

Solid. In a league where half the guys holding this position cant even play 4 downs, because their arm is so weak, that the other team puts 9 in the box, happy to have a guy who look like an NFL qb for a game or 2.

you would think finding such an average talent wouldnt be that hard, but for years has been a bears problem.

Great move. Hoyer is a hell of a lot better than Claussen.

Clausen don't belong in the NFL, I don't see a dropoff from Cutty to Boyer.

Wow, a back-up quarterback with as many playoff appearances as our starter.

Would have liked to have signed him for more than 1 year. IIRC, next year's QB class is worse than this year's.

Yea, doesnt make sense that the Bear didnt take a flyer on a QB in the late rounds...unless they plan on keeping Jay.

This one looked good at this time last year

What are the odds cutler makes it to the end of his Angelo contract. I'd say they are pretty good

Hoyer is a nice signing, better than wasting a draft pick on this years scrubs

I guess I'm the only guy to watch this guy throw 4 picks in the playoffs last year. He looked like a HS QB trying to play with men.

Clausen has the same talent he had when he was drafted in the first round, which makes someone wonder, WTF are these guys doing.

The only reason anyone would keep him is an emergency 3rd QB , as I dont think that counts towards the game day roster? And even then I wouldnt keep him as he is about as good as a development guy.

But Jimmy is the type of guy I hate for my NFL team. He is given credit for being decent because he has been around.
