The best available player at 11 won't be a QB. That doesn't mean I still wouldn't take one.

There's a couple ways they could go that I'd be OK with. I'd like a LT or QB.

I don't want Elliott. I think he'll be an OK back. But his marginal utility over somebody like Henry or others that you could get in the 2nd or 3rd or 4th, even, is much lower than somebody like Lynch, where the dropoff behind him is precipitous to Cook or Hackenberg.

Listening to Waddle-Silverman... The bears have worked out 10 qbs this draft, second only to the cowgirls @ 11...sounds like they are definitely grabbing a qb ...I'm hoping its Cardale Jones.

I keep on thinking that if Lynch is at 11, the Bears will trade Cutler to the Jets and take Lynch.

I still don't know if I like that or not. I don't think the Bears' can win a Super Bowl on Cutler's current contract, but I don't know anything about Lynch because I don't watch college football.

That would be something. Really looking forward to watching this.

I am very high on Elliott. It's just a different era for RB in the NFL.'

A trade back would get me to the guy I'd really like to see on the Bears, Jackson III or possibly Spence

This draft is kind of like last year, where I don't think I could be disappointed with the pick. Conklin or Stanley are fine by me. Lynch or Elliott are good. Lawson, Buckner, Jack, etc. same.

I don't want Floyd.

A really great draft would be an offensive player followed by Chris Jones or Ogbah, if he falls.

I and the Bears are locked in on Jones in the second.

The draft really was set to fall the way I wanted. Tunsil would have been there at 11. Then they would have had the ammo to move up for Jones in Rd 2. All reports are that he was a guy they wanted and traded out of the pick when he was gone.

Overall, I think this was a nice draft. I think they got a starting quality players at OG, DE, and RB. I think they got some really interesting guys in the secondary who are special teams stars (Carson blocked 7 kicks last year).

I will set my sites low on Floyd. Be Mark Anderson as he was in year 1 and I will be pleased as punch. I don't even care if he gets better from there. Rush the passer as well as Anderson and that is worthy of a top 10 pick.

I agree. I think the ILB they got of WV could be starting quality down the road as well.

This will prove to be the best Bears draft since 2000 or 2003. possibly since the early 80s.
