Cutler apparently rallied the troops with a rousing pregame speech. When asked about it on Sportcenter, Jeffrey basically said he was shocked because he had never heard Cutler say anything remotely motivating before, though he wouldn't go so far to say that it was really that inspiring. Hoyer scored 17 and lost to Jacksonville. Cutler scored 20 and beat Minnesota. Hoyer specializes in empty yards. I agree with vegan though, they are roughly equally as bad, just different styles. Last night wasn't a good game for Cutler though. If Minnesota didn't have stone hands he would've had about three picks.

Hoyer also only put 17 and 23 up against Detroit and Indy, two of the worst defenses in the NFL, and Howard played great in both games. Howard looks to be part of a strong draft class Pace brought in though.
