I’m not trolling. I’m just a huge NFL fan, more than most here and enjoy talking about the topic. You have a flawed premise my friend. Good dolphin essentially posted the exact same thoughts as me and he’s arguably the biggest Bears fan here. Love your sports posts Heisenberg but take that weak shit elsewhere. I just like talking sports even when people disagree or think I’m “trolling”. You’ll know when I’m trolling.

Eh, you're trolling a little bit with your Skrine thoughts. You know he's been good when he's been allowed to play his best position.

He played slot last year and sucked hard. What’s he gonna be asked to do this upcoming year?

Jake Kumerow is a borderline NfL player and owned him hard on a simple misdirection red zone route last year.

We’ll see soon enough. I’m confident saying if he’s playing 30+ snaps a game the Bears defense will suffer noticeably.

Jordon Howard on any team will not be a deciding factor in a long playoff run. He’s fungible.

Agreed.

He’s not a piece that puts you over the top, not sure he even raises a team much at all. I won’t be shocked if he gets cut at some point during the season. He’s a guy that made noise on Fox teams playing from behind when teams were more concerned about giving up passing yards. So many people leaning on meaningless stats from losing seasons to prop the guy up as ‘one of the best backs in the league’. I’ve never watched Howard and thought he was a top tier RB. It’s weird that all the sudden some people view him that way. Top tier players/backs are game changers, Howard isn’t a game changer.

I’m not crazy about losing him for a 6th rounder in next years draft, but I’m not losing my mind over him leaving either. I look at it this way -if we have a back on our roster that’s good for 900 yards and 3.7 yards per carry.. same/same. And I sure as hell hope we have backs capable of looking better than that.

To say their window is closing based on those offseason moves is stupid.

The Bears window will open and close based on Mitch and Nagy.

I don't really care for giving up Howard for a 6th maybe 5th round pick...but that move has nothing to do with any windows

That Packer backer just hopes that their window is closing and his analysis is directed at know nothing jerk-offs called cheese heads so who cares what he thinks.

I want the Bears to improve their offensive line in the off season and to get a good tight end that Mitch can depend on as a safety valve. They don't have one of those and in today's NFL it is necessary.

Stop posting this “Howard can’t run out of shotgun” bullshit. This was an article from before Nagy’s first year

https://www.bleachernation.com/bears/20 ... ards-game/

Quote:
Jordan Howard has rushed out of the shotgun 128 times during his first two seasons and has gained 831 yards. And while that comes out to an average of 6.5 yards per attempt, just 34 of Howard’s 276 carries in 2017 came out of the shotgun. That’s an alarmingly revealing set of statistics (ones that are indicative of poor decision-making at the top, especially considering Howard’s success in that area). If Matt Nagy can re-create what he did with Kareem Hunt as a rookie in Kansas City, however, then Howard could be in line for a big season.

Yeah I would like to know how the Bears have enough assets to get Ramsey

I guess they could theoretically do it but it would take a Mack-like hall and it’s not a particular weakness so it really doesn’t make sense, especially considering you don’t even know if Mitch is good enough to win a SB with yet.

Mitch is good enough to win a Super Bowl. In fact the Bears, with that defense is going to be a Super Bowl contender for minimally 5 years with the core of this team right now.
