I was away at a golf weekend and could not watch and only followed on phone and read afterward. Unless you are Rams/Saints last year you shouldn't blame refs. Those things generally even out. The only excuse I can even accept (haven't fully decided yet) would be some real dumb idea for a game plan due to Nagy having a fear of Fangio knowing him too well. Nothing else really flies. That was bad QB and offense all around.

Was there something you forgot to type? Like a point?

It's Nagy and Cohen still does REALLY stupid things.

Speaking of shitty NFL rules, what the hell is with the extra point on Denver's TD? Ok, I understand the Broncos had a delay of game, which is 5 yards. Rather than go for two from the 7, they decide to kick from the 20 (5 yards assessed from the 15). But then the Bears were offsides, which is also a 5-yard penalty. So instead of either a) moving the kick to the 15, or b) placing the ball at the 3.5 (original 2 yard line, moved to the 7 for the delay, and then half the distance for the offsides), they give it to the Broncos at the 1. Fucking ridiculous.

When every player except Allen Robinson appears to have regressed, I think that you need to start questioning the coaches.

I would like to read that.

The way that was explained is that the Broncos had the option to enforce the Bears penalty at 5 yards for the kick, half the distance from the 2, or on the ensuing kickoff. It's definitely a weird situation but that is because the extra points are kicked from further back now. Now I do not know if the Bears could choose to enforce that delay of game from the 2, or the 15. If the offense gets to the choose, that bullshit.

12 men in the huddle with 30 seconds left and 1 timeout is also inexcusable.

Skrine jumping offsides on an extra point, same thing.

It's clear that it's a run when Montgomery is in and almost always a pass when Davis is in. Too predictable.

He hitched his wagon to mentally weak person at his most critical offensive position.

TE is the most the critical offensive position?

His

yes

just like I wrote. His offense doesn't even rely on the QB as much as it does the TE
