But of course we're dealing with Ryan "Slow" Pace. He probably still thinks Floyd is headed to Canton.

But if by some miracle we beat GB, makes sense to grab a pass rusher that actually ya know....rushes the passer....instead of just running PAST the QB the way Floyd does.

Rumor is the Titans will be claiming him.... possibly even back to Baltimore.

No way we land him.

ESPN said this morning he won’t report to anyone but Ravens.

Floyd is just a guy out there, he doesn't appear to have the frame or desire to add enough upper body strength to use inside power moves to rush the passer, offensive tackles simply push him outside and block him with ease. He gets stood up and pushed sideways in the run game, the only time he is really effective is when he drops into coverage. He's kind of like Mitch, some team will see the athletic ability and will sign him because they think the Bears position/strength coaches have been inept at developing him. There may be something to that because Jordan Howard looked to be in much better shape under the Philly training staff, a lot of the Bears guys seem to be poorly conditioned, it's likely due to Nagy's soft approach to pre season, that likely applied to all other aspects of the teams preparation.

The Bears are annoying. I would just like once, before my dirt nap, to have the Bears with a competent football guy running the operation.
