How much ya wanna bet Nagy watched the 49ers running the ball all over Green Bay and sneering the entire time like General Hux from The Last Jedi .... "He's insane. San Francisco scum. You and your 49er fleet are doomed."

No better play caller in football. Terry Bradshaw hands him the trophy and said "Whyd you keep running the ball."

Shanahan: "Cuz it was working."

Genius stuff, right Nagy?

Kyle Shanahan has been outscored 46-0 during the final ten minutes (and an overtime) of both Super Bowls he was calling the plays for.

Little ShanRat has probably lost all respect in that locker room.

Think about it, how can he look those men in the eye next year? He has zero cred now in that locker room after cucking away two super bowls. It's why I have predicted the 49ers to finish lat in that division next season.

He doesn't. Running got them there and he decided to lean on Jimmy Shut Eye when it mattered most.

Their defense will also regress next year as they realize their QB is mediocre and once again they will have to be elite to even have a shot. Emotionally they won't be the same.

Truth be told, Jimmy G missed two throws late in the game. The overthrow to Sanders, and there was another play where Kittle was open for a first down (or very close to it) and he didn't throw the pass Kittle's way. But yeah given what the 9ers had been all year, 2nd and 5 during the closing minutes of the most important game of you life, you gotta run the ball twice to get the 5 yards.

So the play(s) was there, but if you don't have a QB capable enough to make the throws when needed its all moot. The Falcons loss was far far far more egregious than Sunday's was.

There was also a play where if he hits Debo Samual in stride it's a huge, huge gain, instead it's just a 10 yard (or so) completion.

Jimmy One Read is Mitch with an excellent offensive line and a TE to throw to.

Mitch is better and doesn't wet the bed at the end of games. Jimmy Shut Eye had the luxury of play action all year and still his passes only went 6 yards. The Chiefs call him Jimmy Check Down.

They both share the inability to read defenses. Chiefs started blitzing with impunity once they figured he either was unaware or unable to hit the hot read vs the blitz. Mahomes started finding Sherman in coverage and was able to create the extra second needed to make plays. When the teams are evenly matched the QB's abilities, or lack there of, become glaringly apparent. Teams with elite QB's always have a punchers chance because their QB is gonna make the one or two plays needed to win a close game.

I won't disagree with you, but something happens inside (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky's head in key moments that make him a better quarterback. He handles end of game situations well. Even if he's absolutely sucked most of the game. Jimmy G looked like he had shit himself.

Really? The Rams and Packers games were key moments, and Mitch stunk up the joint.
