The goal is to win. You cant win with Cam Newton.

It is not how I would have handled things. I would have waited and if Foles wasn't released went with someone else. But I still understand the mindset of making sure to get the guy you want. It does not mean I agree with it.

That Cam gif makes me cringe especially considering the time that it happened. But I would still rather have him than anyone else on the list.

Yeah I would have excused the Cam thing if it were in the regular season. Jay Cutler torpedoed a great season for the Bears when he chased down someone who intercepted him and tore a ligament in his thumb or something. The Bears were 7-3 or something like that if i remember correctly. So I'm fine with QBs taking themselves out of plays.

If a guy isn't literally willing to die right there on the field in that situation I dont want him. I'd gladly get carried out of a stadium in a bag just to have that opportunity. Guy won the genetic lottery and gets to be a god, but he flinches because he's a pussy.

He got murdered throughout that game and kept coming back for more. He clearly misjudged the play in that gif and thought the ball was going to be deflected forward. He's not diving for cover

the Cam Defense Force is absolutely insufferable.

He's not even one of my favorite players. Overall he did come up short in that game but to act like he's a pussy doesn't square with what we've seen from him the last decade.

Let's be real, if you're a division opponent of the Bears you definitely prefer facing Cam Newton to Nick Foles.

If the offense can get you 20 points you'll win a lot of games probably next year. Cam can get you 20. Foles will get you 3 and occasionally get you 30
