Who doesn't look servicable against the Lions?

The Lions just fired their head coach a week ago and were so injury plagued that they were using an offensive lineman to play defense.

Mitch somehow managed to overcome all odds by performing well--though not spectacularly--against that train wreck of a team.

What an accomplishment!

Imagine how well he would do with an actual head coach and coordinator.

He might eventually evolve into a legitimate backup QB!

Feels like Our Own Adam Hog did a subtle tribute to John Cage here, didn't think he had it in him.

I said in the chat yesterday that Mooney "returning" that kickoff was a dumb move. If you want to have him back there, fine. Tell him to run straight ahead though. Maybe things shake out differently if the Bears start at the 20 or 25 yardline.

Mitch was a pro bowler in 2018 under the same head coach he had yesterday.

mitch also coughed up the ball at a time where ball protection and clock control were vital.

I know we will have to scramble to replace him but Allen Robinson has had a lot of bad plays at critical times this year. He is a very good receiver but he really doesn't deserve the top ten money he is looking for.

Patterson got 10 carries. Up your's Nagy.

Mitch is being praised for having a good game. He did have a high rating. Did he really have a good game? 90+% of his completions were safe dump off passes with a passive Lions defense playing off the short receivers. Even the Kmet TD. He never threaded the needle in traffic which he rarely does. Then conversely, Stafford threaded difficult high traffic passes all over the field. Put receivers in perfect position to make tough, some circus catches with perfectly targeted passes. The Bear's have never had a QB of Stafford's quality.

They are not firing pace and/or nagy in the middle of the season. And if you want them gone that is for the best. Let this sink completely and clean the deck when the season is over.

Yup. Four more losses should do it.

Bonus points if they lose to a Mike Glennon led Jacksonville team

Well we know Chicago scored 30. That's indisputable. No way the Lions scored 34.

They've been running PajamaGram commercials for the last 15 Decembers (and Februarys). This year's national product gimmick is stupider than ever, but that's not on the station.

It also has nothing to do with nudity beyond the product name. But anyone asking “what happened” clearly wasn’t listening to the station for the 1st ten years.

While Pajamagram commercials are nothing new on the station as you guys said, I just heard Shane Riordan do a read for this commercial. It was unbelievably bad and creepy.

Even worse than Terry's where he talked about the "opening the trap door"?

I don't know what he thought he was doing, I assume he thought he was being funny, but it sounded like a sex offender was reading the copy.

I don't recall that particular read by Terry, but I think he usually did those in whimsical way and you knew he was being silly. Riordan sounded like he's hanging around a jr. high parking lot with a box of Taylor Swift CDs and a bag of Blow Pops.

Does the sponsor think it's funny if it makes people not want to buy the product?

I dunno, David Hochberg was kind of a paypig: the more distasteful he seemed, the more airtime he bought. Now he's keeping the entire Chicago radio market afloat!

I actually believe him. When I watch the replay it seems clear he didn’t know the defender has slipped and his focus was on getting to the sideline. You can see he realized what had happened toward the end but he couldn’t change his trajectory by then.
