This guy has been the worst player on the field today in this matchup of terrible teams
no
Which of his 5 penalties was your favorite?
Oh I am not saying he played well or anything close. But he was not the worst player on the field.
Borom and it isn't close
The dudes that know offensive line play all said that Borom is a marginal NFL guard, can maybe fill in at RT, and your team is going to be in trouble if you ever have to play him at LT, we definitely saw that today.
Failing to pick up a quality C and OT continues to haunt this team, not as much as not bringing a top d lineman, but you have marginal NFL players starting at C, LT, and LG, so over half of your O line would be at best back ups on other teams, in fact, not sure if any of the members of the current Bears o line room starts anywhere else, other than Wright who would be an all pro level guard on a good team.
Wright is the only guy that will still be here 3 years from now, he is a good building block, but you still have significant work to do, really thought Poles would be much farther along, and that may cost him his job.
