That was a very painful game to watch. Young has no chance to ever remain as a starting NFL quarterback and it is hard for me to picture Bagent as anything more than a back-up guy.

I was most annoyed by all of the mistakes made by the offense and by the play calling(I guess you might call it that if you are forced to) by little fat guy Getzy.

Also, who in their right mind would call a pass on the 3rd and long play with 42 or so seconds left on the play clock and the Panthers with no way to stop the clock? It was about as stupid as it gets for a team to do. And the idiots announcing the game didn't say shit about it. Allowing a rookie QB having a shaky game over-all to throw a 15 yard pass and risk giving the ball back to the opponent was a STUPID DECISION. Did anyone ask our shit for brains head coach, WHY he did it???? :drunken: :drunken: :drunken:

Yep. And with Williams shutting the bed recently Harrison Jr is looking like the only ‘generational’ talent in this draft.

And you draft those guys when you get the chance to.

It seems like the Fields guys are hoping he gets another year.

He'd have to play at a very high level over the final seven games of the season to justify that decision. There's no evidence to suggest he's capable of doing so.

He would have to be the best quarterback in the league and lead the Bears to the playoffs for me to reconsider.

The Score hosts have Bagent figured out after four games but not sure of Fields yet. I dunno. They both seem to be subpar.

Hood, dolphin, and MANY others are not so quietly hoping to give Fields another year.

I still haven't seen anyone tell us why they threw a 3rd and long pass with less than a minute on the clock and the Panthers unable to stop the clock?

Biggs said he has a hard time imagining Fields coming back to the Bears. It’s also looking like they fucked up by not picking Stroud, which ironically may have been due to the taint Fields gave Ohio State QBs.

The taint of Ohio State quarterbacks extends well beyond Fields

David Haugh asked this morning if the taint of Fields scared teams off from drafting Stroud. He literally was drafted 2nd overall.
