Once again, run it into the line, make it a 2-possession game.

The offensive line gave Fields 14 seconds to not find a receiver.

I remember back in the day the Ticketmaster counter at Carson’s was also the gift wrapping station. I’d never understand why people were paying to have gifts wrapped.
Then for big events where there was 100 people in line, there would be 1 associate on tickets while 10 people stood around and cut wrapping paper

Arizona in perfect position to select MHJ now unless the Bears pick him at #1 overall.. disastrous meaningless win last night draft wise.

A loss would have locked up the #1 pick and positioned the Bears to have a shot at the top quarterbacks and MJH.

Agreed. And yesterday just reinforced how average Fields is as a throwing QB against a terrible defense which means the Bears almost certainly have to go QB with that 1st pick.. that said they could still trade back to around 3, get some future picks, and still get their guy at QB (depending on who that is).

But still, this most likely won’t be a ‘cake and eat it too’ scenario in the draft. Let’s hope Poles doesnt fuck things up further by trading too far back with that 1st pick to land anything significant for 2024. Imagine the Bears leaving this draft without the generational WR or top QB prospect just so they can run this shit back again..
