this wasn't going to be a great year for UDFA. Hopefully they find something they can build on the PS

Keep an eye on the Randolph signing (DT Illinois) -for those that don’t know he was projected by some outlets prior to the season to be a late 1st round early 2nd round talent. Totally forgot about him and I’m very intrigued at the idea of getting him as an UDFA..

The kid from James Madison is supposed to be someone to keep an eye on for a 3 tech.

Surprised there is not a center listed on here.

Their unwillingness to do more with the center position is baffling.

Good word for it that also applies to pass rush help being ignored as well.

Kromah could be interesting, I wonder if they try and throw 30 pounds on him and keep him at DT or move him to EDGE.

They'll have to sign an Ngakwue type player. It might even be Ngakwue himself. He had his worst year playing for us. You can usually book it that he will get 8+ sacks

They have done more at Edge than they have center.

but yeah would be nice if they had an actual starting DE opposite Sweat.

I never want to see that asshole in a Bears uniform again. He doesn't even generate pressures, all his sacks are garbage cleanup/coverage sacks.

Agreed. He sucks.

They signed the Rams starting center and traded for a backup Poles has been stalking for a while. I think he knew they weren't getting better at the position in this draft.

Obviously some vets will be cut and they should wait but that's the type that's out there. Bud DuPree, Calais Campbell...take your pick. It's really just hoping to catch a year of lightning because they need more than what they have at the position

Oline, Defensive line, and special teams were the three areas needing the most improvement from last year. They only improved special teams. Not trading down to get the bounty from a trade of the number one pick basically cost the Bears real chance to have a NO DOUBT PLAY-OFF TEAM FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS.
